Planning the Perfect Bachelorette Party
So it is up you to plan the bachelorette party and you don’t quite know where to start. No problem, I am going to help you plan a bachelorette party you and your friends will never forget!
If you are visiting Las Vegas, you are going to need a place to stay. Staying on the Strip is a no-brainer but where to stay is the trick. You want to be centrally located so your not too far from any one spot. I also recommend staying at a hotel with a lot of amenities like a mall, multiple restaurants, a pool, clubs, and a theater for shows. This way, everything is under one roof and you never have to leave but you have the option to explore if you want.
Now you might be thinking this all sounds great but can I afford a place like this? Yes you can and you even have a few options. Mandalay Bay has all the things I have listed but they are on the far south end of Las Vegas Boulevard and can be quite pricey. The Wynn also has some of those amenities and is more centrally located, however the closest mall is across the street and the room rates are very pricey. We recommend Planet Hollywood Resort Hotel. It has beautiful rooms, a mall, tons of places to eat, clubs, three theaters with over 14 shows.
So now that you know where you are staying, it's time to get down to business. There are so many things to do while in Las Vegas you can easily get overwhelmed. This is why we created the What Women Want Pass. With over $500 in product value and over $1000 in discounts, it is the best deal in town! You also get an itinerary filled with 3 days full of events, all you have to do is show up.
Things to Remember:
♥Don’t plan the party for the night before the wedding – give the bridal shower a few days to recover. They are going to need it.
♥Create an itinerary or let us do all the work for you – either way don’t underestimate the power of being organized. Don’t be afraid to ask for help – assign tasks and involve some of the other girls. Make sure all attendees have printed copies of the itinerary and have extra copies for them upon arrival.
♥Don’t leave anyone out – coworkers, relatives, fiance’s relatives, gym buddy, etc. Make sure to have the bride approve the guest list – if it’s a surprise, run it by another friend just to double-check.
♥Make reservations – nothing will spoil the party faster than waiting in line or getting turned away. Be sure to ask about bachelorette party specials and group pricing at each venue.
♥Alcohol and partying doesn’t have to be the main focus – be sure your bride is comfortable with your ideas and adjust the level to her style… a last hoorah could be a sleep over, playing bachelorette games and eating junk food… Remember that it’s HER night!
♥Spice it up – try using a theme and dress the part.
♥Plan to have dinner or at least heavy appetizers first – it’s a great way to break the ice and be “party” ready.
♥Have a designated driver or hire a limo or party bus if you’re going from place to place.
♥Collect money from everyone in advance so you don’t get stuck with the bill.
♥Bring cash – You’ll need it for tipping, cabs, splitting checks, drinks, etc. Put emergency items in your purse –
♡Gum
♡Band-aids
♡Lip gloss
♡Safety pins
♡Advil/Tums
♡Hair ties and bobby pins
SURVIVING THE BACHELORETTE BASH!
♥Wear comfortable shoes! We know you want your legs to look amazing in 6 inch heels but if you’re traipsing all over the city, you will regret that choice after an hour.
♥Give yourself a spending limit for the evening and stick to it – You need to be able to pay your bills after the party is over.
♥Eat dinner before you start drinking – Seriously! Trust us, you’ll still look super skinny in your little black dress after you’ve had a sandwich.
♥Don’t be a party-pooper – remember this is your friend’s night so if you’re going to participate don’t complain. Be positive and enjoy yourself. Make sure everyone leaves their drama at the door.
♥Know your alcohol consumption limit – Nothing is worse than a killer hangover or throwing up all over your 6 inch Jimmy Choose (see we told you not to wear them!)
♥Use the “buddy system” – Make sure you don’t leave anyone behind or let them walk off with the random guy buying her drinks. Have a list of cell phone numbers for each guest in case you get separated or lost to give to all attendees.
♥Be sure that everyone has the itinerary for the evening so they know where they have to be and when.
♥Drink lots of water and take 2 Advil before you go to sleep.
♥Go with the flow and make the best of wherever the night leads.
♥Expect the unexpected – Come on! It’s a bachelorette party!
I hope these tips and ideas help you plan a wonderful experience your girl friends will never forget.
